Third party liability extends to accidents occurring during loading or unloading of the vehicle.

Cover for the driver acting on the insured's order or permission, and for any authorised user of the vehicle.
Passenger Indemnity
Liability to passengers is covered, including any claims arising while passengers are boarding or alighting.
Legal Costs
Legal costs in the defence of any covered claim are included as standard.
Trailer Liability
Third party cover while a trailer is attached to the insured vehicle. Some policies extend to comprehensive cover.
What is not covered
Standard market exclusions apply to all motor policies - your broker will explain any that are relevant to your situation.

War & radioactive risks

How commercial motor differs from private motor

No driving other vehicles benefit
Unlike private motor policies, the 'driving other cars' extension is not available on commercial motor.
No personal accident benefits
Personal accident, medical expenses, and personal belongings cover are not included in the standard commercial motor policy.
No personal effects cover
Loss of or damage to personal clothing or belongings is excluded from commercial motor cover.
